Washington High School, Principal, Director of Special Programs, Deputy of Special Programs, Deputy Assistant Superintendent - Elementary Operations and Purchasing, Assistant Superintendent- business Services.

Taught choral music in Oklahoma before coming to Dallas. Music teacher at B. F. Darrell Elementary and Lincoln High School. The concert choir at Lincoln was named in her honor. She later taught music education at her Alma Mater, Bishop College.

Taught at Tillotson College before coming to Dallas, taught and served as Counselor at Lincoln High School for more than 30 years. Provided financial support for many students for their college education.

Teacher, Elysian Fields (Marshall),Teacher of Mathematics at B. T. Washington High School and Julia C. Frazier Elementary School in Dallas, Principal of five schools and Math Consultant in DISD, College Professor at El Centro, Bishop, Prairie View and Paul Quinn. DISD School named in his honor.

The first African American General Superintendent of the Dallas ISD. A significant transformation of DISD occurred related to school centered education, new accountability system, and appointment of African Americans to top administrative positions, character education, curriculum, staff development, Bilingual Education and other innovations.

Bishop College Director of Admissions, financial aid, recruitment, testing and veteran's affairs, Registrar and caretaker of records for more than fifty years. Served as Registrar at Paul Quinn College.

Began her career in Abilene, TX, and later worked in Chattanooga, Tennessee before coming to Dallas ISD. Served as teacher at Frazier and Bushman Elementary Schools. Worked in Guaranteed Performance Office, Research and Evaluation, Community Relations, Desegregation Monitoring, and as Learning Centers Administrator. Appointed Court Auditor for the Honorable Barefoot Sanders, Judge, U. S. District Court.

Co-chair of Advocates for Quality Education, DISD School Board Trustee for three years, served on the Resource Committee, Chair-Personnel Committee and representative to the Texas Council of Urban School Districts; Co-founder and first President of Black Coalition to Maximize Education, and Co-Executive Director of drNABSE,

Taught at H.S. Thompson Elementary School, Teacher and Counselor at Lincoln High School, first principal of James Madison High School and Pinkston High School. He taught at Bishop College and was known for his keen intellect and oratorical skills. DISD named a school in his honor.
