Served forty-four years in Dallas ISD and first Principal of Lincoln High School. His tenure marked by high ideals, improved curriculum and methodology. Remembered for his fearless leadership when Lincoln opened under the threat of bombings. Began the Wiley College Extension Program and is known as the “Father of Higher Education” in the African American community. DISD School named in his honor.
