Began her career at Bishop College as Professor of English. Served as Chair of the Humanities Division, Associate Dean and Dean for Academic Affairs, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Chair of Executive Committee in lieu of a President. Her career culmi-nated in serving as a full-time Professor of English at Paul Quinn College.
