(DALLAS, TX) — The African American Education Archives and History Program (AAEAHP) is offering scholarships to high school graduating students and continuing college students studying in the field of education. The deadline to apply is February 11, 2025.
The Dr. Alfred L. Roberts Sr. Scholarship Program has awarded more than $75,000 to Dallas County students since its inception in 2015. All funds raised for scholarships go directly to students. The scholarship program is named in honor of AAEAHP’s president who helped to found the organization in 2002.
New this year is the Billie Kerl Roberts Choral Music Scholarship which will be awarded to students who plan to major in education with a concentration in choral music. This award is in honor of The Late Billie K. Roberts who was a distinguished and accomplished musician and educator.
